Magnificent Frigatebird

Posted on by

I have photographed several Magnificent Frigatebirds (Fregata magnificens) in the Galapagos and both the Atlantic and Pacific sides of Central America. There is a saying that wherever you find boobies, you find frigatebirds, mainly due to their kleptoparasitism behavior (although recent studies dispute how much they actually do this), so I have photographed Magnificent Frigatebirds with Red-footed, Brown, Blue, and Nazca boobies.
