I have photographed two subspecies of Golden-fronted Woodpecker (Melanerpes aurifrons). I photographed one Melanerpes aurifrons santacruzi in Copan, Honduras and a few Melanerpes aurifrons aurifrons in the Rio Grande valley of Texas.
