I photographed one extremely cooperative Laughing Kookaburra (Dacelo novaeguineae) in Melbourne, Australia. In the last photo, you can see how the spots on its wings are blue, but their color depends on lighting.

Hi there,
I would like to seek permission to use the second image of your laughing Kookaburra as a reference photo for a painting I’m doing.
It’s a beautiful image and if you agreed I would of course correctly annotate and credit yourself as the photographer of the original reference image. The medium I work with is watercolour.
